Shirley Meneice, CA  was an avid horticulturist, long-time member, and support of Garden Club of America as well as many other horticultural organizations.  She was honored with this Camellia named for her on her 80th Birthday.   Shirley Meneice, the flower, is just a beautiful as the lady.  It is a medium variegated semidouble that blooms mid to late season.  It has a beautiful growth habit and loves shadier locations with acidic soil.
